The tots were extra early risers this morning. This meant we were all awake before CBeebies. This confused Master Tot greatly. This also meant we were all dressed, fed and watered by 8:30 (rare). I thought we’d make the most … Continue reading
Hello and welcome to another #mealplanningmonday folks! I’ve only got a few minutes before the tots are due to wake, so this week my meal planning post will be short, sweet and to the point.
Chicken with honey and mustard dressing, potatoes and veggies
Fish pie (maybe) This will be my first time making a fish pie – we’ll see how it turns out.
As always I’ll be linking up to Mrs M’s Meal Planning Monday . Why not check out the other meal plans for this week?
The weekend arrived and so did the snow!
Here’s Master Tot showing his sister how to walk in the deeper snow
Making snow angels was great fun!
Master Tot enjoyed building our snowman; Miss Tot had a great time trying to knock it down!
We were starting to get all snowed out by the middle of the week. Neither of the tots wanted to go outside to play so we had a lazy afternoon.
Whilst I made dinner, Master was a bear. This is him in his ‘bear home’ under the kitchen table.
This morning Miss Tot didn’t want to draw on the table. She wanted to sit and draw on the table.

I have a love affair with original, well made, hand crafted items, so it’s really quite handy that Britain is full of talented and creative people. There are few things I enjoy more than browsing small independent retailers, whether online or on foot. One of my favourite places to browse is Folksy, an online community of UK designers and makers showcasing and selling their work. Perfect for people like me who find it difficult to get to craft fairs and boutiques.
Being the kind soul I am, I thought I’d share some of my recent finds complete with a bit of a tartan twist, seeing as it’s Burns’ Night.
P.S – What’s you fave?
