The tots were extra early risers this morning. This meant we were all awake before CBeebies. This confused Master Tot greatly.
This also meant we were all dressed, fed and watered by 8:30 (rare). I thought we’d make the most of our morning and go for our first walk of 2013 in our local woodland area.
Just like incy wincy spider, the rain washed away the snow over the weekend; the temperature has risen to just above freezing; and the skies don’t didn’t look too threatening.
Perfect morning for a walk.

Explorers on a mission
Five minutes into our walk Miss Tot took a hissy fit & tantrumed until I popped her back in the buggy.
I guess she wasn’t in the mood for a walk today.
She spent the rest of the walk like this:

or this:

It’s just a shame Miss Tot waited until I’d chosen the least buggy friendly route to decide she wasn’t walking today.
Anyone who has a standard double buggy, pushchair or wheelchair, will appreciate how difficult it is to manoeuvre on hilly, grassy, waterlogged ground.
While Missy slept & played with twigs, Master happily investigated on his own.

Only pride was hurt, but hurt pride can be painful.
Time for tantrum 2.
The type of tantrum that can only be resolved by getting a seat, laughing as mummy struggles to get 2 monkeys in a double-buggy through a muddy field.
