Once again it’s Monday morning and here is our meal plan for this week.

MONDAY: Haggis and potatoes
We have some haggis which wasn’t used last week and instead of freezing it, Mr Frugal and I plan on having it for dinner tonight. The tots will be having a milder version aka mince and potatoes.
TUESDAY: Macaroni cheese
I’m out shortly after dinner time tonight, so it’s something simple and easy for us all.
WEDNESDAY: Pizza/spaghetti bolognese
It’s a sports night for Mr Frugal and he won’t be home until late. I know I won’t feel like cooking (or eating) a dinner at 11pm at night, so I’ve opted for a pizza for the grown ups once Mr Frugal is home. The tots will be having spag bol at a more reasonable eating time.
THURSDAY: Baked potatoes
Mr Frugal won’t be home from work until the tots are in bed tonight and rather than having 2 nights of pizza, I thought baked pototoes would be a good option for everyone.
FRIDAY: Fish and chips
The tots will be getting the homemade version. The grown ups will be getting the bought frozen goods version. (It’s another night of 2 dinners as Mr Frugal won’t be home from work until the tots are in bed).
SATURDAY: Sausage casserole
Mr Frugal will be working all day so it’s something from the freezer for us all.
SUNDAY: Chicken pasta
We have a jar of peppercorn sauce in the cupboard, so I thought it’s about time we used it up. Chicken & pasta was a popular choice.
As always I’ll be linking up to Mrs M’s Meal Planning Monday . Why not check out the other meal plans for this week?

This photo may not mean much to anyone else, but it does to me. Here we have Master Tot sticking down some stickers in to a sticker book… not on floors, not on furniture, not in hair, or any other random places… but in a STICKER BOOK.

The sun trying to break through and visit (unsuccessfully).

Sometimes it’s all about timing. I was just about to take a photo when this happened. Master Tot was not impressed.

Over the past couple of weeks, Miss Tot has started to show an interest in puzzles. She’s a car lover.

Having fun during our first teddy bear picnic of the year.
31/365

It has rained non-stop since Monday afternoon. Master Tot felt the need to protest.

Wherever we go, the rocket comes too.
Our baby girl is officially 18 months old today.
Her strong-willed, fiery, independent nature shines through in everything she does. She is so very different, but yet, so very much similar to her brother.
When I think back to when Master Tot turned 18 months old, I know that Miss Tot was just 2 months old and we were about to move house, but I don’t remember. Maybe the memory lapse is down to baby-brain, or possibly old age, or maybe because life was very hectic then.
Life is calmer these days.
Today we’re having a teddy bears soft toys picnic to mark the occasion and only the most treasured, chosen few are invited (that may, or may not include mummy).
